4th Thornbury Brownies have enjoyed another exciting month of activities. They have done more STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activities to complete their STEM challenge badge.

This included setting off rockets, designing and making foil boats to hold the most marbles and making ice cream in a bag using ice combined with salt to freeze it. The brownies thoroughly enjoyed the activities and were surprised by some of the results.

They have also been climbing at Woodhouse park, something new for some members of the unit and enjoyed a Samba drumming workshop delivered by Jamma de Samba. In just over 1 hour the brownies mastered their part in the samba band and successfully played as a group. They were fantastic and all are very eager to do samba again.
