Body of man found near Thornbury
The body of a man has been found in woods near to Thornbury.
The discovery was made at about 6pm on 13 October – the body was found in Thornbury Woods..
The death isn’t being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner as a sudden death.
A police spokesman said after the discovery: “Formal identification is still to take place, although the family of missing man Rutger Norberg - who went missing on 28 September - have been advised.”
Rutger Norberg, who’s 50, and has diabetes, hadn’t been seen since leaving his home in the Gloucester Road area on Friday 28th September. He was due to travel to London that day, but police believe he returned at lunchtime before going out again. He didn’t take his car.
