Choir raises over £1,000 for charity
The Alveston Singers have raised £1,137 for the Children’s Hospice South West and Cancer Research.
They took donations at two concerts where they performed ‘Songs From the Shows’. The money will be added to any further contributions at their next concerts in December, and then split equally between the two charities. Since the choir formed in 1977, it has raised thousands of pounds for good causes.
