There have been gorillas, Gromits and now this summer - hares. Families have the chance to hunt down over 80 giant hares that have been placed around the Cotswolds from Morton in the Marsh down to Bristol.

Four of the individually painted hares are in Chipping Sodbury, with others in Berkely, Rangeworthy and Hawkesbury Upton.

In Chipping Sodbury, locals are celebrating with a mini Hare trail of their own.  Both of the free family activities run until Sunday 10th September.

Sodbury Chamber of Commerce are behind the town’s own trail, with hares placed mostly along the High Street.  The animals have been decorated by artists and schoolchildren amongst others.

Of the four large hares, The Tiger That Came to Town will be also be visiting the South Gloucestershire Show over the first weekend of August.
