A NEW exhibition devoted to the heritage of South Gloucestershire will visit Thornbury in June.

South Gloucestershire Museums were due to launch the display in Patchway library as Thornbury Voice went to press.

After a month there, it will move to Thornbury library, where it will remain from June 5-30. Organisers said it was the first time the area’s heritage had been featured in such an exhibition and was designed to bring to life its history for people of all ages.

In years to come it will be seen at museums, sites and events all over South Gloucestershire.
