Living history group The Company of Chivalry will be providing a vivid display of life in a medieval encampment during the 100 Years' war. The event, on Sunday 11 June, will give a chance to find out how men and women lived, worked, and fought in the 14th century.
There will be a programme of talks and demonstrations, showing cooking, clothing, skills and crafts and a display of military combat.
It’s the start of a month of special events, with the Barn hosting A Story of Early Music on Sunday 25 June at 2.30pm.
Trumpet-player and singer Tom Harrison returns to his home area with Sophie Creaner and Essa Flett to give the midsummer concert.
This is followed by a performance of The Miller’s Tale on Tuesday 4 July.
