FIREWORKS will light up the sky over the Mundy Playing Fields when Thornbury Round Table stages its annual bonfire night display.

FIREWORKS will light up the sky over the Mundy Playing Fields when Thornbury Round Table stages its annual bonfire night display.

Tickets for the event on Saturday, November 4, are on sale at a number of outlets in the town, including the town council offices in High Street.

Bought in advance, they cost £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. On the night, they will be £7 for adults and £3 for children.

Money raised from the display will go to local charities and good causes.

Gates to the playing fields will open at 5.30pm, with a children’s display of fireworks starting an hour later.

The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the main display is due to get underway at 7.30pm. 

Meanwhile, the annual display at The Chantry in Castle Street will take place on Friday, November 3, at 7pm.

Doors open at 6pm and tickets bought in advance cost £4 for adults and £2.50 for children.
