Squash marathon set to raise funds for Ezzy

Thornbury Junior Squash Club are preparing to play the long game this month as they aim to raise money for Ezzy Hodge.

Three year old Ezzy has Cerebral Palsy and her parents have launched a fundraising campaign to raise £80,000 for treatment in America that could help her walk.

The 24 hour ‘squashathon’ at Thornbury Leisure Centre on Sat June 17.  There will also be a coaching session from 10-12 to help raise funds and this can be booked via Tim Miller at timmiller177@yahoo.co.uk.

The club has had a busy time recently, including welcoming the Mayor of Thornbury, Helen Harrison who took to the court to give the game a go.
