Thornbury Jazz Festival
Organisers say the event on March 23 is proving to be popular, with ticket sales going well.
Festuring a wide range of jazz in one evening, the South Gloucestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra will be the first on stage, playing Glen Miller favourites, followed by the Jenner Jazz Quartet (flute/saxophone, piano, double bass and drums).
The main act at 9pm is The Royals, above, with their own take on classics by Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Prima. Lead singer Emily Wright has received acclaim for her recent album Meeting at Night and hasperformed at the London and Manchester jazz festivalsas well as live shows for BBC Radio 3 and 6 Music.
The evening ends with the Boulevard Big Band, playing an extensive repertoire of both classic and modern jazz.
