Rachel Shutt headed the field in Under 13 girls 50m freestyle race at the The Independent Association of Prep Schools’ national finals.

The Year 8 student looked to be in second position on the first length but managed a perfect tumble turn setting her in first position for the second and final length reaching the finish with an arms length spare.

Tockington Manor's Headmaster Stephen Symonds said "We are immensely proud of Rachel, she has worked incredibly hard at her swimming, training every morning and every evening, she really deserves this gold."
