StoryTime and RhymeTime for babies and pre-schoolers (Term Time Only). Storytime Mondays 2.15pm – 2.45pm. Rhymetime Fridays 10.30am -11.00am.  Most suitable for ages 0-4 years, all activities free of charge, no booking required. 


 FREE Holiday Craft Session for Children

Drop in anytime between 11-12 noon on Thursday 31st May for free family fun, aimed at primary school aged children. Adult supervision required, no child under 8 years to be left unattended.


Craft & Chat 

First Thursday of the month 2pm - 4pm. A chance for people who love crafting to get together and share inspiration. No charge and no booking required. Just turn up and bring your craft project with you. New faces welcome!


Computer Support Volunteers

Drop-in without an appointment on Monday mornings 10-12 to see Mike, our computer volunteer who can help with quick enquiries. If you need more intensive support, book in to see our computer volunteer Chris on Thursday mornings at 9.30, 10.30 or 11.30. Sessions with Chris must be booked in advance – enquire in person at Thornbury Library or email thornbury.library@southglos.gov.uk 


Wi-fi and Studying

Did you know we have free wi-fi and study spaces and we also have the resource Access to Research - academic articles online. If you are a library member and aged 16 years or over you can apply for Open Access membership which will enable you to use the library outside of staffed hours. See our website or ask at the library for more information.
